A. Renting A Car Without Driver

Renting a car without driver, our responsible is limited at 50km from Phnom Penh radius, such as:

Car broken down outside the coverage areas of 50km from Phnom Penh radius, you may call us for advice but you must pay by yourself to all the related cost of repairing at the site.

We may advise you to towing back the car into Phnom Penh, which you must pay only for the towing fee. The rest, we will do, such as: replacing the whole engine and/or broken down to the whole gear box etc….

We could also help you towing the car back into Phnom Penh, but you must pay for the towing fee too.

Damage of the vehicle(s) caused by the negligent driving, you must pay for it.

You must pay for the Insurance Deductible of $50 in each of the cases when the accident happens.

In another case, if the accident is so serious which caused the Third Party to death, the driver/renter will pay for the criminal code in the lump sum between US$500.00 – US$3,000.00.

Deposit your Original Passport.

Deposit US$300.00 which will be refunded at the end of the contract.

The quoted prices are including the insurance coverage everywhere in the territory of Cambodia, but no fuel is included.

Since we are the only one renting out the car with unlimited mileage, most of the vehicles are in full tank of fuel. You are requested to do the same on the day of returning the car.

B. Attention!

As Land Traffic Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia mentioned:

Article 40: The national and international driver’s license for all types of vehicles will be issued by Ministry of Public Work and Transport of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Article 45: Except when there is a bilateral or multinational agreement or international convention recognized by two courtiers or more with Kingdom of Cambodia, legal immigrants who want to drive on the road of the Kingdom of Cambodian could obtain Cambodian Driver’s License in two ways:

1. Applying in the examination for driver’s license like Cambodians.

2. Exchanging their national driver’s license to the Cambodian one by submitting the application form to Ministry of Public Work and Transportation and shall complete the following criteria:

o You should ask for the BUSINESS VISA which will be issued to you on your arrival to the Phnom Penh International Airport and you must pay USD25.00 which is USD5.00 different from the Tourist one.

o Do not forget to bring along with you one of your National or International Driver's Licenses which it need to be converted into the Local One for the insurance purpose.

o We will issue you the Provisional Cambodian Driver’s License within a minute only and then you start driving the car immediately.

o Bring along with you 3 photos in the passport size.

o The cost of converting into the Local Driver's License will be advised over the communication via email. The real one will come after three weeks, if there are not so many public government holidays and valid for one year only.
