Most of the modern vehicles are having the modern technologies, in terms of, mechanical, electrical, optional operation, and some other equipment and accessories are also difference between one to another.

Even though, they are more optional operation etc. . . and etc. . ., but there are very simple just to make it last longer and save the high expenses, if it has been doing regularly the very simple maintenance. The human being and the vehicle are requiring almost the same things. We are thirty when running and/or working hard. The vehicle is also the same, when running on a long distance, the water in the radiator and/or in the reservoir could have been melt out and need to be topping up.

Here are the very simple and very quick self-maintenance before starting it in the morning:

Check the water in the Reservoir, Radiator, Wiper Container (Rear and Front) and the water in the battery, if any!
Check the Battery Terminal End to confirm that it is connected firmly.
Check the Engine Oil to make sure that it stay in the right level.
Check the Gear Box Fluid just in case to see that it is in low or high level!
Check the Brake Fluid to confirm that it is in the right level.
Check the Steering Fluid to make sure it is not leakage and in the right level.
Check the Clutch Fluid just in case it is too low or high!
Check all the generator, fan and AC Compressor belts etc . . .
Check the Light System to make sure that all are working properly, in the case that you may traveling in the night time.
Check the Emergency Tools and Equipment to make sure that you have all of them, in case that you got a flat tire, you have them to help you. Such as: (1). Jack, (2). Jack Handle (3). Nut Remover, (4). Battery Jumper, (5). Screw Drivers, (6). Torch, (7). Water Container or big full or empty bottle, and (8). Towing Rope etc . . .
Check the Spare Tire to make sure that it contains enough of air at 2.50Kg of air inside.
Always keep all the 4 tires in good condition and enough of air between Minimum 2.30 – Maximum 2.50Kg of air!
Then, you cam start the engine and leave it idling for about 5 minutes prior your departure, just to keep the engine oil spread all over the engine.
At the same time, while the engine of the car is working, you should spend some times to look into the fans to confirm that they are working. If not, you can not move the car unless you fix one of them etc..

Bear in mind that when it is working well for you, you will feel that it is very useful and comfortable, but when it suddenly stop working because of your lazy and carelessness, then you will feel nervous!
